Case Studies
Here are a few examples of our recent work.

NET Patient Foundation
The NET Patient Foundation is a UK based charity to provide help and support for patients diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours.
We were asked to provide an information based website on a low budget that the client could update themselves for ease of maintenance and cost containment.
With such a wealth of information it was critical to provide a simple and clear navigation structure to enable users to get to the information they need quickly. Dedicating a large amount of space on the homepage to navigation means users can quickly reach most areas of the site with just one click.
To keep costs low we based the site on an Open Source content management system which we customised to the client's branding. This ensured keeping development costs to a minimum but at the same time providing the client with a sophisticated and intuitive interface for them to maintain and add to the site content. With just a few hours of training the client was able to maintain and update the site independently of ourselves.

Designer Way Vacation Club
The client required both a “brochure-style” website to advertise the product and a sophisticated back-end to allow members of the product access to on-line holiday services.
Branding for the product had already been established in the form of printed material and we were asked to make sure the design was in-keeping with this existing material.
The publicly accessible area of the site is mainly promotional information for the product and we structured the home page and navigation to ensure that new visitors can easily and efficiently find the product information they need.
Access to the members’ area is facilitated by a log-in link on every page and log-in forms on key pages. Once inside the members’ area users have access to wealth of holiday booking and related services, enabling them to arrange and book all their holiday requirements directly on the website.
Custom programming was required to seamlessly integrate the website with 3rd party service providers and the site was also integrated with our own in-house IDS (Internet Distribution System) for holiday booking.
Travelsaver
A clean, fresh and enticing look and feel were required for this site and we were given a clean slate to design a new logo and branding for the product.
The client wanted to give an exclusive feel to the product and at the same time maintain a holiday feeling. We opted for a limited blue and grey colour palette with almost monochrome images to give a sophisticated look. The holiday aspect was highlighted with the waveforms in page header and the beach scene.
The main purpose of the site is to serve as a portal for members of the product to allow them to log-in and access on-line holiday booking services so very pages are directly available to the public.

IDS — Internet Distribution System
Aware of our in-depth knowledge and experience of the travel industry our client asked us to develop a complete system to enable the booking and management of holiday accommodation both via the internet and via in-house custom interfaces.
This was a huge software development project and amongst other things included modules to enable holiday accommodation owners to manage their availability in real-time via the internet, interaction with existing accounting systems, white labelling for 3rd party branding, internationalisation and a complex search and pricing structure.
The system has been in successful use for a number of years now and in collaboration with the client we continue to develop and improve on it.
Hundreds of 3rd party websites use our IDS system as white label solution enabling them to offer on-line holiday accommodation booking directly via their own websites.
